Water consumption estimated at 35 gallons per truck depending on vehicle speed through the wash zone. Higher water flows and pressure will improve performance.

Up to 98% depending upon speed through wash. For best results, trucks should come to a full stop and proceed through the wheel wash at no more than 5 mph.

Location: The Wheel Wash 72 should be located at the transition from unpaved to paved surface. Paved surface at exit of wash must be kept clean by flushing or sweeping. Install the Wheel Wash 72 before any scale to keep it cleaner. If possible, locate the wash 1000 ft. from plant exit to allow tires to drain and dry.

Support: Spray manifolds include brackets with clamp to mount on concrete barricade (Jersey) block. Control panel and sensor also mount directly onto barricade blocks that funnel trucks into wash zone.

Water Supply: No pump included. Customer responsible for providing a minimum of 72 gpm at 40 psi from hydrant or other local supply. Strainer or filter may be required if water is muddy or turbid.

Power Supply: 115 VAC, 60 Hz power required for control panel and sensor operation.

Drainage: Water can be drained from wheel wash to retention pond, settlement basin, dewatering bin or other containment. Customer is responsible for any and all material and labor that may be required to drain, collect and recycle wash water.
